Went to Kiliamani Primary school and then to Delamere Girls High School 1959*64, then to Reesewood Secretarial College in Nairobi.
Now living in Canberra Australia
Left the UK for Kenya (Nairobi) in 1949. Her father, John Charnley, worked for Local Govt at the time, as a Civil Engineer, then worked for Mobil Oil, still as an engineer, until they emigrated to Australia in 1966.
